A JuiceBox should never be opened as this will void the warranty. The flexible wire should be connected to an external junction box as per the installation instructions.
The JuiceBox Pro and Pro Cellular are not provided with the flexible wire, the supply connection is wired directly to the units back-plate. Please refer to the installation manual for detailed instructions.
